CONGRATULATIONS State Ambassador Lauren Bockel. She will be making appearances at different events that we hold. "It is an honor to be the first ambassador representing the Texas Braunvieh Association!!! I grew up around agriculture and come from a family of farmers and ranchers. I started showing commercial cattle when I was 8 years old. I purchased my first Purebred heifer in 2012. I started showing Braunvieh in March of 2019. I now have seven Braunvieh heifers and will continue to raise cattle throughout my life.

My goals as an ambassador are to educate more commercial breeders on the great qualities the Braunvieh breed has to offer. Advertisement is a huge assent to any market and I plan to spread the word that the Braunvieh breed SHOULD BE one of the most desired breeds in the cattle industry. They are dual purpose cattle. They produce so much milk they can take on two calves if needed, and they will because they are so maternal. You can breed your Braunvieh heifers at an early age due to the fact that they are extremely fertile. They have one of the best carcasses in the world! Put a few Braunvieh cows with your bull and you’ll notice how much size and muscle it will add!
